Devonwood

Marketer Sarah Saso and Artist Lonny Doherty left the Big City (Sarah after 34 years) and retreated to the County (Grey County to be exact), to embark upon a new journey, a two-year labour of love.

They bought a 51 acre farm in Chatsworth Ontario, they named it Devonwood and Lonny got to work immediately, sustainably and thoughtfully renovating the century old barn for their niece Justine Doherty and her now husband Dr. Josh Del Papa's wedding this past 2021 summer.

Lonny also magically transformed their Devon Woods into a forest cathedral where Sarah performed her first Wedding Ceremony as a newly ordained wedding officiant.

Sarah and Lonny dreamed it, designed it, and made it happen.

Why the name Devonwood and the flying pig you might ask? It's a nod to a joke one of Sarah's Toronto friends made "Sarah Saso will live on a farm when pigs fly" so I guess they do! Devon is another name for a black pig.
